I didn't actually ask when I was coherent. But somewhere in my narcotic induced haze I think I recall the recovery nurse telling me it took about an hour and a half.

I had lapband removed and sleeved in 50 minutes. Was in OR for prep and surgery a total of 1 hr 20 minutes.

I had a sleeve + hiatal hernia repair in about 90 minutes.

I arrived at the hospital at 7:00 am, was in the pre-op area until 7:55, in the OR at 8:00, in recovery at 9:00 (so they tell me- I was still sleepy), and in my hospital room by 10:00. All I had done though was the sleeve, and no complications or anything unusual found during surgery.

Sleeve only... about 35 minutes. Easy surgery, small liver and much less visceral fat than would have been expected at my BMI.

My surgeon said mine took 40 minutes. He said my liver looked good and I bled very little.

I was only sleeved and mine was 90 mins. I had no complications.

About an hour and a half doc said it went textbook.
