Eating slow

This week I am starting to integrate regular food into my diet. I am finding that as I am feeling better and can eat more normal food, I have been going out with friends more. I am not making bad choices in my food, at least I don't think. However, when out I have been struggling to eat slow! Unfortunately, I believe this has resulted in me throwing up my meal 2 days in a row. Then I don't feel like eating for the rest of the night, in turn I have not been getting the Protein levels I need!

Any suggestions for slowing down while out? I am still only eating a few bites and chewing well.... I just need to slow down!

Living in the moment is so hard with everything we do in life, it just takes practice. One of my favorite books is The Power of Now by Echardt Tolle, it's all about how to live life in the moment. I think this will be one of the hardest parts for me. We need to savor what little food we do get!
