Im 5 days post op

I was sleeved in Tijuana everything was awesome the whole experience. So I made it home last night after a long flight and when I got home I ate some broth. I barely had much of the broth then I felt like I had to go throw up, but I didn't but close. Well now I just tried to eat some cream of wheat made with Water instead of milk. I felt the Same way, but did nothing. I know the cream of wheat was a mistake, because it was not watery enough. Maybe my body is tired from the flight, I know I'm super sore today any advise?

Thanks

Cream of wheat wasn't on my list until the puree stage. I would focus on clear liquids, maybe some sugar free jello. Try to take a small bite and let it sit for a couple minutes..see how that does, then take another bite. I think as long as you stay hydrated that's the important part..

I am 5 weeks out and I have to say that I you need to stay hydrated, the protein you will not be able to get this all in for a while, and take things slowly, if you are feeling like vomiting then you are taking in to much right now, remember you are still very swelled inside. dont push it, stay on clear or full liquids.
