How to feel

I'm feeling great, but while learning to listen to my body, I'm able to take In more than 1-2oz of fluids. I don't know how to feel about that. Am I pushing it?? It kinda feel like I never had the actual surgery.... Idk

Don't worry about the liquid intake so much -- everything is normal. I was able to drink more each day after surgery and had the same doubts. When you get to eating more solid foods you will definitely feel the restriction of your sleeve. Just keep getting in your protein and water and you'll do just fine.

The day after surgery i could only take in about half an ounce at a time. Within days I could down one ounce at a time. I just noticed a few mins ago I gulped about 4 swallows from my water bottle. I can still only eat about a half a cup of food so it's all good.

You're probably okay but talk to your doctor anyway.

Belladonna, you should be very careful, at a week out you may not feel it but that seems like a LOT to be eating now! Especially chicken. I'm almost 6 weeks out and I can only eat a few bites at a time. I have to go really slow. I know everyone is different and each Dr gives different instructions, but I haven't seen anyone on here say that their Dr is ok with 4oz of chicken at 1 week.

Don't get discouraged, it will get better and we're here to support you!!
