Fruits?

When do your plans say you can eat fruit? I started puree stage today, and would love to blend a banana with the chocolate protein! My plan says baby food puree fruits....but wouldn't doing it myself be just as effective? lol

  • I would think that it would be fine to puree yourself if your plan says pureed fruits are allowed.

I was allowed to have applesauce during pureed week. I also did babyfood fruit. I think as long as you puree it really smooth you should be ok.

I was very stubborn, i could not phantom eating pureed foods, it would make me gag. LOL I did primarily yogurts, sf pudding, sf jello, and cottage cheese.

I couldn't start on fruit until six weeks and then, the dietitian told us, in the beginning at the seminar, to consider fruit a treat, a couple of times a week. I never kept fruit around ALL the time, so a couple of times a week works for me.
