Endoscopy Diagnosis

I had my endoscopy today and showed multiple problems, gastritis, duodenitis, polyps and erosion. I'm not sure now if I can have the sleeve. My Surgeon said he would rather go with the gastric bypass, I didn't want to go this route. Has anyone here had any of these problems before having the sleeve done. I am so confused.

Did you have symptoms of reflux or acid before? The general recommendation is if you have severe stomach issues, the bypass is a better option because the sleeve can make these things worse.

I'm right there with ya! Soooo disappointing!! I have chronic inflammation of esophagus, stomach, and duodenum but so far 2 different docs don't know why :(

I'd say try the sleeveif you can get things under control & you can always revise to the bypass later or so I was told.
