3 week out questions

I have plans to go on vacation 3 weeks post surgery. What phase of the diet will I be on?

Will I be able to swim? ( meaning ate my incisions aloud to get wet)

Thanks for your input

Each Dr. if different, so I would check with yours. That being said, I will be 3 weeks on Tues. and I am on the soft food stage. My surgeon used glue to seal the incisions and I was able to swim after my first post-op appt (day 9). Best of luck to you!

Some docs may let you. My doc told me not until 4 weeks. As far as food.. That can be tricky. So many docs haven't different instructions. Mine states mushy/soft foods. I was reading my book my doc have me and it says you can have rice, retried Beans, puréed chicken or turkey or hamburger.. Those are some ideas. Hope it helps!
