Well im getting about 50 oz of liquid its taking all day. im not eating much veggies im trying to get my 80 grams but im getting like 42 of the protein bullets and bout 15-20 from food like eggs' date=' cheese, soups, some meat I don't have much choices do u have some ideas as far as mushy foods to eat? ?[/quote']

I'm eating baked tilapia, egg salad and when I want some carbs I have Cheerios and milk (even though I probably shouldn't be eating it). I've tried cottage cheese but I just can't do it. I Also eat pieces of mozzarella.

Okay kool I will try some fish and the egg salad. can I have hummus and ritz crackers?

I think the hummus is ok just watch your carb in take with the crackers.

I though we couldn't have crackers

Getting ready for my surgery tomorrow! So excited and less nervous than I thought I would be. I guess I'm just really ready for this! Pre op diet went better than expected. I was hungry, but the protein shakes were filling. Keep me in your prayers!!

Everyone is different. I read all these stories and first hand accounts of what happened but in the end my experience was solely my own. I am 5 days out and I feel like I never even had surgery outside of the random runners pain from my lower incisions when I move wrong. I'm sip sip sipping my way to happy land. Patiently expecting weight loss without obsessions, weighing in every damn day, fretting over every little detail. I will do all that I need to do to maintain my health and I pray that you do the same. You will fare well. Pray and mostly, relax. Have a go with the flow mindset when doctors and nurses have to do things a bit differently just for you. This is really a custom experience. I am so happy I did this.

I asked my surgeon when I went for my post op check up and he said nothing is banned just watch your carbs and make sure you get your protein and liquids in. I just wanted to make sure I got all the info since I don't see him again till the end of August (even though I can call him or the girls at the office). Papers they give you are soo vague. They don't really explain anything.
