Fish Oil, take fish oil! My hair started thinning in my 50s, long before my sleeve surgery. I started taking fish oil capsules because I couldn't take cholesterol meds, and quite by accident I noticed one day that there was no longer hair in the shower drain, and on my hands after I put gel in my hair.

The pre and post op diets don't contain enough good fats, that's why your hair falls out.

GNC and Amazon have a gel fish oil, 2,000 mg, called Coromega. It's much easier to take for sleevers than trying to swallow big fish oil capsules.

To help hair regrow, look in Revita shampoo and conditioners. Avail on Amazon. They also have minoxidil serums for the scalp. I've been using their products for about a year and my hair is thicker and I see a lot of regrowth where it was thinning.
