Advocare Pro20

Have any of you tried the advocare pro20 on the postoperative diet? 20g protein, 200mg alpha GPC and 140 calories. Do you think the calories are a lot? It's only 3 fl oz.

remember Protein is key to continued success!

now doing the math and 8 ounce glass of skim milk has about 8 grams of protein for about 90 calories.

so, 3 ounces of milk will only give you about 3 grams of protein for 33 calories.

you would have to drink 20 ounces of milk containing 225 calories to equal the Pro20 drink.

I'm 3 years post-VSG and it still takes me a while to drink 20 ounces of anything quickly. i still struggle with my 12 ounce Isopure shake :)

i wish something that went down so easily was around when i was fresh post-op.

So, IMHO it's worth the calories!
