I open it and let it sit for a few minutes then put it back in the fridge...the next evening it's not bubbly and I can drink it. Granted it does taste a little flat but it works. Not something I do all the time though.

shake it and let the gas escape. Keep doing it until it no longer hisses when you open the cap after shaking it.

My surgeon's told me not to drink any kind of carbonated drinks. I did accidentally take a drink of a sparkling water and was so surprised that I spit it out..... You can wait until it gets flat though.............
