That's great! I was lucky and didn't have very many. The only appointments I had were one with the surgeon, 2 with the NUT, and I had to go to the informational seminar. But, it sounds like a lot of people have it a lot worse!

I haven't even met the Nut yet ! I have to have a Egd,ultrasound, Sleep and Esophagram. I will do whatever it takes.

I'm just curious as why you all have to have stuff like sleep studies, EKGs, etc? Is the surgeon ordering it as a precaution to make sure you're healthy, or does your insurance require it?

None of those tests were even mentioned to me before my surgery.

The surgeon order the test. My guess is to make sure I'm healthy enough for surgery.
