Hopefully none.. Lol...my insurance has been picking up the tab... I've only had to pay for co-payments of $15 and my psych evaluation for $225... So they better keep shelling out the dough.. Lol

If you're talking about the visit to the hospital about a week before your surgery, at mine they took blood for labs and did a chest xray. They wanted to do an EKG but I told them I had had one in February by the cardiologist in the same building. They said they would get the result from him. I spent more time waiting to see different people than I did actually doing things. All in all, non-eventful.

Yeah I guess That's Why they want me to fast before going for two hours.. But at least in those two hours I can have water

It took me about 2 hours to complete paperwork, payment, bloodwork and xrays. I too didnt do an EKG because I recently had one.

Ummmm ...payment????

Yes. The cost for the hospital was $1650. They allowed me to pay $550 up front then like $97/mo for the next 12 months. Im not sure what the physician (surgeon) or the anesthesiologist cost will be. I know it will not be nearly as much as the hospital charges. My insurance covered 85% of the cost.

3 to 4 hours. It could have been shorter had I got there at 7a when they opened, but no, I had to sleep in that day.
