First consult with surgeon tomorrow

Hi everyone, I am new here. I am just starting out in the process and have my first consult with my surgeon on Wednesday. I am wondering if any of you have suggestions for questions I should ask or anything I should be prepared for? I am very nervous because I HATE doctors and hospitals. I have not even been to a doctor in a couple years, mainly because I dread having to get on that scale! I am sure I will have some unpleasant surprises since it has been a while since I had a checkup. I'm so worried. So any tips, advice or encouragement would be much appreciated!

This is your opportunity to interview your surgeon. The best advice I can give is to make sure you love your surgeon. They will have their life in your hands. Good luck :)
