I do - but I mainly concentrate on strength training to tighten up - I'm nearly at goal so thats the next step for me! I started strength training at 3 months post-op :)

When can I restart with my Personal trainer? I was thinking 6 weeks post-op and start with gentle weight training and wait a while before moving to cardio. Even my walks at the moment are very slow as it still feels a bit uncomfortable at 12 days post op?

I started back with my personal trainer at 6 weeks. It wasn't difficult to resume our workouts together.

I was encouraged to walk, walk, walk from the time of the surgery on and was cleared for any exercise at four weeks. I work out with a personal trainer twice a week, do water aerobics three times a week and use a treadmill at home every day. I, too, would have had a hard time getting myself to go to the gym very often, but the appointments with the personal trainer make me adhere to a schedule, the water aerobics exercise is fun and the treadmill is in my office reminding and pushing me to get on it.
