Pain on the right side

Hi all,

I'm 6 weeks post op and have been having mild to moderate discomfort on my right side (like right over my appendix). I put a call into my surgeon's office and I'm waiting for a call back. They may instruct me to call my primary. Has anyone else has issues on their right side (NOT left/gallbladder)? I'm wondering if my appendix was irritated during the surgery. I have no other symptoms.

Thanks!

Pain on your right side is probably your gallbladder, right below your rib cage. I'd talk to your doc.

Gall bladder is right side

Yolo

I had pain on my right side for several days. I talked to my surgeon and he suggested taking a laxative since I hadn't gone in a few days. I did that, but the pain continued, so I went to the ER. After drinking A LOT of contrast and getting my CT, I was told my appendix and abdomen looked good. My surgeon thinks I may have strained a muscle in my abdominal wall. Good luck!
