Protein in Urine

I need some advice....I am 3 weeks and 2 days post op and i have felt like i had a UTI, but tested negative. But i so a high amount of Protein in my urine. The first urine test they did showed 30 and then today they did another and it went up to 50. I am worried and wont get to talk to my PCP till tomorrow. Has anyone else had this?

    Are you diabetic or do you drink excessive amounts of water? I'm not much help but if you google 'proteinuria' you might find some helpful info :)
