Hello to everyone! I am newly banded as of 12-12-06. A week tomorrow. I had my surgery in Lenexa Kansas from Dr. Wanda Kaniewski. Highest weight was 296, already down 10 pounds. WISH ME LUCK!!!

Congratulations! It sounds like things are going well for you so far. That's terrific!

I'm getting banded tomorrow! I hope I manage to get to sleep and wake up. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM! I'm too excited to go to bed!

Hey FutureBeauty: I am in the KC area and just talked to someone from her office yesterday.

How did you like her and the facility? Did you self pay or did you go through insurance? How long before you got through the entire process?

Congratulations Future Beauty (love the name by the way!) you will be fine and you have a very exciting road ahead of you...although hard at times it is well worth it...keep us posted it wont be long before you can take the 'Future' out of your user name!
