I had popcorn at about 7 weeks out. Just be careful the first time you eat it and go slow until you make sure it agrees with your band.

popcorn was fine for me too...obviously I waited until I was on solids but so far I have not had any troubles...Yummmy, a nice treat!

I am sitting here nibbling on popcorn as we speak, and I am only 2 1/2 weeks post op and having no problems. Is that crazy? My doc is not as strict about the stages as some, and told me it was okay to try foods if I wanted. I don't eat it whole, I nibble on it, but so far so good! Thank God--cuz I love popcorn!
