Flying on empty

Surgery was May 21st. Four hours waiting at the airport. So many food smells are making me sick/hungry. Haven't had anything worth calories since Saturday night. Should I get some soup at the next/first restaurant I see? Just a little light headed and I have a 2 1/2 hour drive home.

Hope you are not driving. You're allowed clear liquids. Don't you have any protein powders with you? Drink some tea. If you can find clear broth go for it. Best of luck.

Yes you should be drinking clear liquids. Get some broth or tea. Sip very slowly at this point. Stop at a gas station and grab a Popsicle. Don't let yourself get dehydrated. It can happen.

Got some tea on the plane. Stopped for a lemonade and some korean soup broth, but it was too spicy lol.
