I got mine yesterday. I went to my cardiologist, had an EKG, talked to her about the surgery and she was very supportive. Now she will send a letter to surgeon clearing me and explaining my heart condition.

This would be my last requirement that I'll have to complete. My surgeon would like me to visit the cardiologist 1 month before surgery. But I'm just unsure if I should wait until I have a surgery date before I schedule this appt. I meet with my surgeon again 6/7.

I had it done too. They did a stress test on the treadmill, and an echo on my heart. They just want to be sure your heart can handle the stress while under anesthesia. Best of luck, I'm sure it will be fine :)

At mine, they did an EKG and some sort of sonogram on my heart. The cardiologist put me on a daily pill to slow my heart rate down for surgery. Other than that, pretty uneventful

Had mine done . Dr. Called me at home to come in for another test. I was terrified. I asked why and they said the dr didn't like the results of one of my test. I went back in and the dr said that I had had a heart attack in my past. Dr cleared me for surgery. Sleeved July 11th at 217lbs I am now 7 lbs from my goal of 130. This surgery was amazing!!! Wishing you all the best!!!

I also have to have a stress test this Wednesday, never had one before so not sure what to expect other than i will be walking on a treadmill

I have a treadmill test this Thursday. I had an Eco and the test in 2011 for a different reason but since I already had an Eco they are just going to make me do another treadmill test. All they make you do is run on a treadmill at different speeds. No biggie

I would make the appointment as soon as possible. It took me a month to get in with my cardiologist.

At what point in the process they request that test? I start my classes on June 12th. I am so excited. I have start to lose some weight already. I think what is helping me is the fact that I am writing everything down.

My doc told me up front, but I have a heart condition. So I would ask on your first appt if you need one and then call and schedule ASAP.

I had my first appointment last Tuesday and my surgeon put in a request for the treadmill test right after. Some insurances and centers are different and make you do your diet first. However my endoscopy won't be done till the end.

I had to get cardiac clearance before they would schedule my surgery. I had a EKG and an Echo done. The cardiologist talked to me about my family history and sent a nice little approval to my surgeons office.

I was sleeved May 7th.
