I need advice....my grandfather has become very ill. I am very close to my grandfather and help take care of him. My surgery was tentatively scheduled for late June. Should I go ahead with the surgery or postpone it? How long will my recovery be ? Thanks everyone #heavyheart

This is something you really will need to decide for yourself. Is his illness life-threatening? You will really need to be able to focus on yourself and your recovery after surgery.

I agree with serenity. This surgery requires you to be very focused on everything you put in your mouth. With that said, within 2-4 weeks after the surgery you should be able to still care for him.

Thanks everyone! After speaking with my husband and family. I'm going to go ahead with my surgery...my family said what will be, will be, and I need to take care of myself and get healthy!!
