water intake

I'm 15 days out from surgery and I feel like I can drink as much water as I want. I started some solid foods a couple days ago and puked up blood. My surgeon put me back on liquid diet but I've been concerned something is wrong. Is it normal that I can take in all the water I want to and never feel full or sick? I hear people talk about barely getting their fluid and I definitely do not have that problem?

I drink normally. I don't measure it (never have, never will). Water empties out of the stomach. or sleeve, very quickly. Sorry about the vomiting blood- yikes. Never done that! I'd be VERY worried.

Thank you. I guess I'm just worried that it isn't going to work. :( the blood thing did worry me, still has me a bit worried. Have fear that I could have a leak or something but my surgeons nurse keeps telling me I would know it if I did. I just want this to work...
