I'm sure we could think of something

Im from saskatchewan, was sleeved in Mexico on may15/13! Would love to chat!!

Hey hicktownchick! I'm from saskatoon. Sleeved march 1st this year. About half way to goal so far :)

Why did you choose not to go through WLF??

1. They want to change you 14,000$ to send you to Mexico for surgery when you can go on your own and pay only $4000-$5000

2. They send you to Dr.Pompa who I have read a few stories on the boards about her screwing up surgeries and about the patients having to get additional surgeries to get the issues fixed.

I'm not saying anyone should or should not go through WLF I am just saying these are the reasons I chose not too. :)

I didnt go thru them becuz they charge to much!!! My flight was 750 hotel 60 and surgery was 7200! Hospital angeles is an full functioning hospital, amazing staff, PLUS my surgeon trained wlf surgeon!! He has been doin this surgery longer! All around my experience was fabulous!!

Where r u from? Where and when did u have ur surgery?

Hi Saskatoon ladies ,

I kind of lost touch since last week but life is busy.

I start my 21 day pre-op liquid diet tomorrow... Holy sheet :) that means surgery is in 22 days!!! I went shopping and bought absolutely everything I need for this as well as the items I will need post-op. I also bought items that are healthy and easy to cook for my family. I think that's going to be the tough part. Being a stay at home mom with a hungry little guy might be trying during this journey.

The only thing that hinders me most days is my weight... Not being able to fit in my clothes right and finding pregnancy pants comfy is a huge problem... Yup my little guy is almost 19 months... Why am I still wearing them!!!!! I don't suffer from any sickness and I'm not out of breath going up a flight of stairs. But for how long??

I'm 31 years old, and stand 5'7

Highest weight 334

Current weight 322

Goal weight 160

I have a long way to go, and so much life to live.

As you might already know, I'm getting Sleeved by Dr.Alvarez July 5th. So here is to getting my overly large ass in shape and being the best I can be!!!!!
