Yes that is normal. Its been 3 month since my surgery in water or liquids became easier to get down.

I know I shouldn't right now but I've also been able to taste smashed pinto beans and homemade guacamole. Maybe because Im almost to the purée stage. Does anyone know if Avocado is ok in the purée stage?

TV22120 I feel u!!! I was sleeved on the 24th and last night and this morning I got down some fat free refried beans...as long as I took very small bites I was fine. I had a very very small (smaller than a dime) piece of steak biscuit from Hardee's and it was amazing. Just the taste. I tried baked tilapia this morning and I didnt like it. Probably because I can't cook tho. I'm having a hard time staying on liquids cause I want something of substance. But as long as u can tolerate it I think its fine just small bites and eat slow! Good luck!!!
