2 and a half weeks out

I have only lost about 10 lbs since my surgery on April 15th. I'm feeling a bit discouraged and worried. I feel good and have no problems. I am not experiencing anything negative that others are or have been. I really feel exactly like before the surgery except that I can only eat very little at each meal time and I'm more energetic since I've lost the weight. I should say that I am a low BMI starting out at 171lbs and being 161 today. I did weigh 176 but lost some during the pre-op diet. Please give me some insight.

Congratulations...that's great. It just will continue to come off and before you know that 10 will be 20 and then 30 and so on. You will be at your goal weight in no time. It isn't easy...I know. I am 11 months out. I started at 221 and got down to 152 and I am now up to 162. I got laid off from my job 2 months after the surgery and I have been unemployed for 9 mos. and sit at home and snack alot. I went to my 11 mos. check today and I was reminded of why I did this and I was put back on a strict 3 meal diet...no snacking. I know that the early stages were hard...if you need support....please reach out to me. Good luck.

Congrats to both of you..Monaramsdell....good to hear that you are getting back on track...I am sure it is easy to get off track Sherri...you will do just fine, follow everything, journal everything...your feelings your food....
