aunt flo

I know this may be tmi but I was sleeved 1/23/13 I've lost 89 pounds but 2 days after I was sleeved my peroid started and I had my peroid all the way till april 12th that was the longest 3 1/2 months of my life. My ob said it was from my hormones and the weightloss. I was even on the depo shot to try and stop it. They finally did a d&c to make it stop. But from what I hear this is normal. That was the worst part of this whole adventure. But I don't regret it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I didn't have the same problem but I didn't have something related happen to me. I was sleeved on 3/7/13 and prior to that, I hadn't had my period for months. A couple of week post-op I started again and have been on a regular cycle ever since. Odd. I really thought that I was menopausal prior to being sleeved and even if I was, the sleeve yanked me right back.

I've been getting my period every 3 weeks since surgery

the depo probably made you continue to bleed..i was on it and had my period 3 months in a row no joke WORST 3 MONTHS OF MY LIFE lol..Ive heard thaT it is normal, alot of girls on here started right after being sleeved and it either was so outta whack or lasted forever
