back pain after eating?

My mid upper back hurts if I eat too much and when I say "too much" less than 2 oz per meal.

Does this happen to anyone?

Also, when will I be able to eat a little more than 2 oz and feel comfortable?

  • It gets better with time. I'm almost three weeks out and I can tell a difference. I mainly encounter the pain now when I drink something really cold.

  • Same feeling! When I eat "too much" my back also hurts in the same area

Thanks guys. I am glad I am not alone. I am little over 6 weeks post op and hoping this will pass. Good luck to u guys !

I just experienced that for the first time tonight, it didn't last long thankfully but I immediately knew it was due to eating too much

I have the same pain. It is slightly to the left of center. I am 3 months out and have had it since a couple of weeks out.
