So today I had my last app w my surgeon before the surgery.. And I ask him," what size of bougie are you using?" He replies Im dont use a bougie I use a small tube with a ball at the end. Then I ask ok .. Well what size is that? He then says oh around 21 / 23 ... Wow isnt that really small? Has anyone heard it being that small? Well whatever size I'm sure it will be fine.. I hope?

If it is not a bougie, the measurement size might be different than that of a bougie. If your surgeon is accredited and knowledgeable, with many other successful sleeves under his belt, I'm sure it will be fine. Good luck with your surgery
