swelling issues...how long does it kast

Ok so I am 3 days post opposite and I'm having a hard time swallowing liquid. It is way better than day 2 they gave me steroids to open up the swelling I guess my question is...about how long before u can drink water or juice without it getting stuck..when i say stuck iy like hitx my tummy and sits and then slowly gors in it doesnt come back up anymore. And is this pretty normal?

I only had minor swelling, but try sticking to cool liquid. It will help reduce the swelling. Also, get up an walk every hour. That will increase your circulation and promote faster healing! Best to you and Congratulations!

Totally normal. I had this issue as well. I actually found that warmer liquids went down better - my doctor suggested trying that. Tea, coffee, etc. I have a protein cappucino drink I like and it goes down really well! However, I found it frustrating in the first week or so when I had to take microscopic sips of water - I really wanted to just chug it!!!
