Pre-op anxiety!

I am having surgery on Monday4-15. I am so nervous and just keep thinking "what if something happens during surgery" and I elected to have this. Did anyone else have these worries or thought?! Please give me some encouraging words that all will be ok!

We all had these thoughts but please don't worry. I am 66 and down 63 lbs. take this experience and run with it. There has never been a time that you will lose so much weight and see such a difference so quickly. Savor every moment so that when you are thin you can remember what you went thru.

Best of luck and DO NOT WORRY!

Thanks, I am 42 and have struggled with being overweight since childhood. I know this will be a life changer for me but just have the usual pre-op jitters!

I felt like getting up and leaving right up until they took me into surgery! Your feelings are normal. I was sleeved 3-19-13. I am glad I did it. Good luck!!
