How long will Nausea/cramping last?

I'm just 2 days post op and wondering when the intermittent nausea/cramping last? I have been walking and doing everything right I just can't handle the nausea part. I'm so afraid of throwing up and hurting the sleeve!

I to would like to know the answer to this' I'm also two days out and having much gas pains & cramping..I am also wondering how everyone else was able to get their fluids down?!

Today i'm 1 week out and no more nausea or pain thank God! Each day gets better I think by day 4 nausea was all the way gone! N drink very slow! Good luck to u both!

@ the hospital they gave me a round silver sticker type patch to place behind my ear to stop the nausea after I complained about it. Some type nausea patch. Im sorry I dont know the name of it.

I'm 2 weeks out and I still get nauseous from time to time. I went home with a prescription for Zofran and 4 of the patches you place behind your ear. The nausea sucks, but each day it gets better. I just concentrate on getting fluids in at this point.

Good to hear!
