  1. I have been stalled for past 2 months which is frustrating. I have a hard time getting the recommended protein in which I've been told can cause a stall. Otherwise I feel great.

  3. I have Mirena as well, sleeved 4/2/13 and Dr aware and not concerned. Just like the others I too got a period a little over a week after surgery
  4. How are you doing post-op? I feel better than I expected! For as nervous as I was it was a GREAT experience. I highly recommend my surgeon and the facility in Mexico to anyone else who is paying cash like me! Top notch facility and staff!
  5. It gradually is getting better. Thanks everyone.
  6. I ended up having surgery on April 2nd instead but I'm feeling decent.... Better than I anticipated . However I still get some cramping and nausea. I'm walking n getting around otherwise ok. Personally I'm not using a sippy cup I've been using a teaspoon or just taking small sips n doing well with that. I'm preferring warm or room temp liquids as the cold ones really bother me in the smallest amount.

  8. I'm just 2 days post op and wondering when the intermittent nausea/cramping last? I have been walking and doing everything right I just can't handle the nausea part. I'm so afraid of throwing up and hurting the sleeve!
  9. Thanks everyone! Post op day 1 hasn't been too bad. Pain is tolerable its the intermittent nausea that bothers me the most. I've been doing a lot of walking which is a big help.
  10. Arrived in Mexico for pre-op and surgery was to be tomorrow but had cancellation so I'm having surgery TODAY!!!!!! Very nervous!!

  12. So exciting! My surgery is tomorrow. I'm a little nervous as I'm having it in Mexico but I've heard good things about doc. I'm siting at airport now getting ready to board my final flight. I have all my pre-op testing this afternoon. Good luck to you and I will see you on the "sleeved side"

  16. Hi!! My date is 4/3 however I'm not from Texas but I'll be flying there as I'm having surgery in Mexico. I didn't know you could friend people as I've only used this via app on phone! I'm learning so much every time I get on here I love that! Good luck to you next week!
  17. My date is April 3rd n I'm new to here as well n not a techno person so can't help with how to change via your phone either! Good luck
  18. I'm feeling the same way..... What if what if what if.... Hence why I'm not sleeping at 1:30 in morning. Ughhhh. My surgery is next week already - 6 days to go. Nervous as heck and praying I made the right decision (going to Mexico part especially. Ooo n I'm frustrated too because I have gained weight on pre-op diet!! I'm mean really who does that!!!
  19. I'm new too! My surgery is April 3. I have proteinex liquid protein that is lemon lime flavored that you add to water. I add a packet of crystal light n can drink it without a problem. There is 18g protein in 2 tablespoons. I personally can't stomach the vanilla or chocolate mixes however I can drink the Atkins chocolate shakes. They are like watered down milk. Good luck
  20. This info makes me feel much better! I'm scheduled with Dr Rodriguez on April 3 and I'm going alone so I find comfort in reading all this.
