Goodbye 230's; Hello 220's

Recommended Posts

I hit 229.2 today. Granted it's the low 220's but I haven't seen that weight since I got married almost 4 years ago and that was after doing Jenny Craig for several months. Woo Hoo!!!

congrats! Every little step puts such a smile on my face. I put on a pair of jeans yesterday that hadn't fit me in a long time and they where a perfect fit. I now can't wait for them to be too loose!

I'm also not pushing our scale past 0 anymore which is a treat for me.. lol My wife calls me the incredible shrinking husband. haha

I have lost 20lbs on my "new diet" since I started my pre-op in January. It is amazing how old jeans are fitting. I got on the scale yesterday at the doctor's office and FINALLY hit 239.8; I was doing the happy dance in the office. I am so excited to go to my pre-op appointment tomorrow; and get a date scheduled so I can get a tool to help me loose the rest.

Congrats!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
