Sueing!

Went to my primary care for some pain. We did a ct scan and found out they did the bypass on me and not the sleeve! I can't believe it!

  • I suspect I've had some kind of reverse RNY done. Where they've connected by intestine to my oesophagus in reverse...... might explain why I talk so much ****.

Well, RNYers are not in the VSG clique. We are special and spiffier. You would have to pay someone off to get back in.

  • Well, your not really on our team anymore....

Yea, we don't have to deal with "dumping syndrome"!!!!

No....I REALLY thought this was serious. My mind was working fast and furious thinking I would have to keep repeating myself all the way to surgery...SLEEVE...MAKE SURE IT'S A SLEEVE!. Then I kept following the thread and I was thinking "boy these are heartless responses" and then the "DUH" moment hit and I started laughing. Nice one. Count me as "Got her "

Yea, I got GOT too! And I even posted something before I read the entire thread!!! Geez....

Not sure this is 100% true.

Some of us swear we were dumping after high sugar or high fat;moreover, it is more of a problem the closer to DOS you are.

For example, I ate some ham at 6 weeks. No, not the Turkey ham, but real ham that is kind of fatty. I did not realize it was going to be an issue when eating it at a diner.

After a few minutes, I was sweating, dizzy, felt like vomiting, got diarrhea. I believe this was a dumping experience for me. Learned my lesson and it only happened once.

Just a warning...

Yikes! I swear I thought it only happened to the bypass-era!!! Thanks for the heads up!!! Lol *embarrased face* ????

RE: dumping

My surgeon told me it could be a possibility for someone like me who didn't have a gallbladder since I was having these symptoms before. However, since being sleeved I haven't experienced it.
