Flu and dehydration

Have had the flu for 3 days now, lost so much Fluid and can't drink enough to keep up, and I'm still running to the bathroom. Tried Imodium and it works for awhile but then it starts up again. I'm so miserable!

Any advice? If not can you pray for me?

I hate going to the hospital to get hydrated.

Hang in there, I had the flu 3 weeks after I was sleeved. My hubby got me a slurpee and lord that did the trick, I lived on them for about 3 days. I know I we weren't supposed to have this so early out, but it was survival mode at best. It does get better!

I also have the flu and im dehydrated too. Its hard but just drink water. I like mys real icy. Im going to call my doc tomorrow and ask him if i should go to the ER because im getting dizzy every time i get up and my calfs are contracting real bad. Oh n my lips are so dry. If u feel like u need it go to the ER it wont kill to get rehydrated. I hope u feel better

Thank you so much, just got a lil bit of yogurt down.

Sleep a lot! The sleep will help you get better. That and drinking plenty of fluids. One fluid that I found really helped is called pedialyte when I had to flu a couple months ago. Any fluid that will help you replenish electrolytes , such as gatorade, will be good to have on hand. Hope you feel better very soon. If you find yourself not able to stay hydrated, do consider going to the ER for hydration.
