Taking out the trash

Also known as clothes that no longer fit. I'm excited and depressed at the same time. Why did I allow myself to get so unhealthy? I'm so glad I decided to get the sleeve. I was sleeved on 12/26 and have not looked back.

I am thankful for this forum. When I decided to get a lap band I read the forums and quickly decided that the sleeve was a better option I did not have insurance that would cover the surgery so I saved and took out a loan to cover the difference.

I hated the pre op diet but made my way through 2 weeks and lost 9 pounds total before surgery. It wasn't easy but I was determined. I told myself it was important to have a positive attitude so I did. I read the forums before surgery and knew what to do and what to expect.

I'm at 3 months out and have lost 54 pounds so far. I'm 4 pounds away from onederland I am looking better and feeling great. Good luck to all of you ready to start this journey I love my life and my sleeve

You know what's weird? Is I've cleaned out my closet several times..... And I have the piles of clothes sitting in my upstairs hall. I have not been able to get rid of them yet. My husband was like "umm Laura are you going to do something about these"

I think I'm having a hard time in believing that this is real and just might work!

I am going to get rid of them this week!

Way to go!! I actually put a Rubbermaid tote in my closet, if it is too big it goes in there and I make a goodwill trip once its full, it's a great feeling!!!
