enlarged uvula?

Has anyone else experienced an irratated or enlarged uvula after surgery? It was so bothersome right after that I couldn't drink anything without gagging on it. It seems to be getting better each day, but if someone has suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Are you sure it isn't your tonsils? Maybe something got irritated by the intubation.

Happened to me too. It was so large it was laying on the back of my tounge. It's been 4 days now and its down to wear it is not bothering me as much. The color is pure white. My nurse said that it was from when they intibated me. It will get better :)

Most likely from intubation.
