  1. Try the premixed premium protien shakes from Sams & Costco. There is also a dry whey protien shake that tastes good. These have much less of an after taste than any others I have tried
  2. I'm on clear liquids day 1-5, full liquids 6-14, soft foods 15-30 then slowly introduce other foods.
  3. I am 1 week out & need to find some other people in my area for support
  4. I am only a week out from surgery, but have already been looking for high protein bariatric complient meals to cook in a few weeks. Search Pinterst for bariatric meals. There is an avocado pesto to use on pasta that sounds great. Also, lots of recipes for pizzas using a variety of crusts.
  5. Haha...I'm also craving refried beans but I'm not willing to have the gas pains from it. I'm looking forward to eating some creamy avacado with salt.
  6. Pudding after day 5 is what mine said. Also eating greek yogurt blended with splenda.
  7. I was able to have low fat cream soups. That was my saving grace.
  8. Has anyone else experienced an irratated or enlarged uvula after surgery? It was so bothersome right after that I couldn't drink anything without gagging on it. It seems to be getting better each day, but if someone has suggestions I'd appreciate it.
  9. Thanks. Where do you find the crush flavor packets?
  10. I was sleeved on 3/18 and can't stomach the thought of anything warm. I'm not able to stomach jello or water. I have been able to take sugar free apple & cranberry grape juice. Orange popsicles are the only flavor that would settle. Thank goodness today I move from clear liquids to full liquids. I'm looking forward to trying a few more things.
  11. My surgery was on 3/18 & I too am suffering with painful gas bubbles . It feels like a golf ball stuck. It helps to stretch my back & move it around.
