Finally got a date 04-24-2013

After a long 6 month wait, while meeting all my insurance requirements, my wait is finally over. I got the call today that I am approved for surgery on April 24th. My surgery will be done by Dr. Dat Nguyen at the Valley Care Medical Center in Pleasanton, CA. I am 28 5"4 and will be app 228 the day of surgery. My goal weight is 145 and my ultimate goal is pregnancy as I have pcos. Looking forward to my dream coming true!

sleeved on 4-24-13 started at 218 down to 158 as of this morning. Feeling great, not one issue. Hair starting to fall out but i have so much it's not an issue. I eat what ever i want in moderation. I drink what ever i want as well. Only issue i have is food just doesnt taste good anymore. I eat it because i have to but i no longer have a favorite food. I do make better choices on eating. I eat tons of salad and do my best to stay away from carbs. I do eat carbs though. Today i had 1/2 sandwich and a few chips for lunch.

Glad to hear that your doing well. I was 248 before pre op 235 day of surgery and 175. I eat and drink what I want as we'll. no carbonation and still only eat a very little amount per day. My hair is also Falling out a ton. I have long thick hair but it is still heartbreaking to see it everywhere. I feel bad for women who have thin hair before takin this journey. I couldn't imagine the amount of hairless I'm experiencing.

How is everyone doing?

I still get dizzy but I'm awful about vitamins water and protein so I only have myself to blame for that.

I had to get one of those vitamin cases to keep on my desk! Makes me feel old, but it's working. Lol!
