Had surgery july 30th 2012

Just curious how people who had surgery 7 to 8 months out are doing? I lost 53 pounds since surgery. Before surgery I lost 38. Struggling now!

  • I had surgery 8/31. Have lost about 55 lbs. only lost 6 since the new year. Still about 25 lbs from goal. The scale isn't moving much these days but I can fit into as size 10 (started at 235 lbs sz

Around the 6 month mark I slowed down a lot. I was near goal but the weight kept coming off at a slower rate. You have done really good on your weight loss. CONGRATS! :)

The scale isn't moving much these days but I can fit into as size 10 (started at 235 lbs sz 18/20) so I'm not too depressed about the scale.

Thanks! I'm at stall, haven't lost any more weight in a month. I trouble with head hunger! Going to a support group on it. Night time is a struggle!

I slowed way down too. I'm with you, struggling, but not giving up! Too close to give up!

It feels good to hear how others are doing that had surgery around same time. Not many sleeve people at hospital I had it done.

I agree with you! I'm not giving up, it just can be so frustrating. Really trying eat right, exercise, record what I eat and drink. All while trying to stop my self from eating when I'm not really hungry.
