Citrus

Do you think it would be okay to have some grapefruit segments or a mandarin? I'm 4 weeks out. Thanks in advance for your input!

  • I would avoid it right now... #1 because of its acidic #2 because the membrane on the fruit is not easily digested. Most doctors will say wait a few months...

I wanna know also!

I'm questioning that also. I love oranges but am avoiding citrus. I tried some low cal pink lemonade and it tore me up from 2 sips it was so acidic. It's one of those things I love but will be a loooong time before I try citrus again!

Nut said membrane was hard to digest

Oops, but the membrane free grapefruit in a glass jar went down easy and so did mandarin oranges at 4 weeks
