First run

Five weeks post op. first time on the road since mid December. Felt great. Ran 4.4 miles at 9:30 pace. Which kind of sucks but I didn't stop and I know I'll get my speed back.so happy right now.

    9:30 is a GREAT time. You are under 30 minutes for a 5 k. That is pretty good for most people and amazing considering you are 5 weeks post op.

    I've been running for 6 years. So the cardio is there but I didn't expect this after 3 months off.

    That's awesome man. My best mile time is about 12 minutes, at 394, haven't really pushed myself much yet 3 weeks post op but I'm really hoping for a sub 10 minute mile some day.
