Hit a bump and really nervous now.

My surgery is set for March 26th and everything couldn't have gone smoother. Whole process was fitting into place. Just went for the okay from my general dr and he did an EKG, which turned out to be abnormal. Sent me to a cardiologist who did another EKG and is having me take a stress test on Wed March 20 and an ECHO on Fri March 22. I am so nervous that I am not going to get the clearance for my March 26th surgery. I'm so mentally ready to have this surgery and don't want to have to post pone it any longer.

I went through the same exact thing. I ended up having to have the heart cath done because there was shadows in those other two tests now mind u they say big chested people usually show shadowing so I had to put off my surgery a darn month for no reason. I hope that doesn't happen to you. Good luck!! Jist remember you have to take care of your heart!!

It is so devasting when there is a bump in the road to having surgery. I started coughing and wheezing on Wed night. I am so concerned I may have bronchitis again. I have asthma and it is definitely acting up. I feel terrible and I am so worried this could impact my surgery. However my pre-op is on 4/1 so hopefully I can get over this. Good luck schristine with getting your surgery done.

I went trough same thing, bad EKG had to delay surgery that was scheduled for Dec. until March 20th. still did no have a good EKg but cardioligist gave okay to go. Hang in there.
