Just saying hello! I was banded on June 1 in Cincinnati by Dr Fegelman at the Jewish Hospital. Everything with the surgery went fine and including the weight loss during the presurgery phase, I'm down about 29 pounds. As a result of the diet changes and weight loss, however.....my gall bladder decided to collect a few stones and I had it taken out this past Monday. Also with Dr Fegelman at Jewish. Both of these surgeries have had me off work quite a bunch this summer and it has been great. I am catching up time with family and friends and Days of our Lives!

Hi Kelly,

Welcome. I hope you get as much out of this forum as I do. There are a bunch of really great people on this site.

Congratulations on your weight loss.

Enjoy!:)

Kelly, congratulations! I lucked out, the dr. removed my gallbladder when he installed my band. Aren't you glad to be over that yucky, sick-o feeling? Best of luck to you!

Hi Kelly,

I'm waiting on insurance approval for the lapband. I too am going through Jewish Hospital with Dr. Fegelman. Congratulations on your weight loss! Hopefully I will be approved soon. :nervous
