Two Days Post Op

I just got home yesterday and I'm two days post op. I'm feeling really good. I have some pain but really nothing major and defiantly nothing that the meds aren't controlling. That first twenty four hours was pretty painful but once the gas pains started to die down it got a lot better. I'm taking in my fluids and full liquids pretty well. I'm afraid of overdoing it so I'm taking it pretty slow, I'm sure I could take a bit more in. I am a bit worried about getting in a enough protein and such but I'm sure it will get better over time. I haven't really felt hungry or anything yet so that's a good thing. Anyway I wanted to check in and say how great I'm feeling and happy I am that I did this!

Great! Glad it is going well! Keep walking, sipping, walking sipping. It gets better every day!

Congrats and welcome to the loser's bench!! :) For the first few days, concentrate on staying hydrated. You'll get the protein in once the swelling goes down some, but the water is a must. :) Good luck!
