My guess is low iron, what kind of vitamin are you taking??

My mother had the bypass surgery about 9 weeks ago as well. Before surgery, no matter her weight at the moment, ran very warm. Since surgery it seems she cannot find enough sweaters and blankets. She recently went back to her surgeon, and the doctor insists that it is common and nothing to be concerned about. The doctor explained that there is still reminants of anesthesia in her body and this is the cause. It sounds odd to me that it could be in her body that long, but maybe this is the case?

I am 21 mo post op and have been freezing since the day of surgery. I have 3 friends that have also had this surgery and they all say the same thing.

I don't know the whys of it, but from reading lots of sleeve forums can tell you it is common, and even to be expected. I am actually looking forward to it as I am hot all the time. If I take everything off, I get arrested! It seems like it will easier to cover up and I will be able to wear pretty shawls and not be too hot in them!
