Weight loss presurgery

Just wonder how much people were losing during the pre-op phase . I have lost 10lbs the first month and 5 this month with 6 wks till surgery.

    I started my insurance required 6 month diet on Feb 13...I'm down 18 lbs. in just under a month, which I know will slow soon! I'm following Atkins, which I've had success with in the past.

    I just do d it crazy that I am losing weight by eating! I was a big time skipper of meals and now have 3 a day and am losing! Lol

    I had to lose 20# before my Dr would schedule surgery. Started in Oct. 2012.and hit 20# Dec8 check in. So surgery was Jan 14.
