Just got sleeved on 3/5/13

Hi everyone

I finally made the big leap together healthy. I got my sleeve on Tuesday and so far so good. I'm not really in pain. I just have a lot of discomfort from the anesthesia. There is a ton of air in my tummy. I wish I could drink some pop so I could burp it all up. But I know soda is off limits. Any advice?

Also if you are looking for a good Protein drink try Isopure. They are 20oz drinks and gave 40 grams of protein. I really like the grape kind. You can find them at GNC. They are not cheap but it's worth the expense. I can't do the Protein powder yet. I also made some yummy meatball Soup right beforevmy surgery. It strained out the meat and veggies and only drink the broth. Very yummy. I can't stand drinking only sweet stuff. I need something savory at least once a day.

I'm still struggling to drink 48oz of fluids. Today was the first time that I felt hungry so hopefully that will motivate me to drink more.

I have a long way to go and really need the support. I'm hoping this forum will give me the advice and encouragement that I need to see this weight loss journey through to a successful end.

Congratulations and good luck!

Walking is the best thing. Try to walk every 1/2 hour or hour if you can. It helps a lot.

Thanks ladies! I will definitely try to walk more. Today is the first time I've been hungry in days. Is this normal? I thought I wasn't supposed to have an appetite or hunger pain for weeks.
