So I bought some Isopure about 2 months ago in preparation of my surgery, and it has just been sitting there. Every time I opened the fridge it laughed at me, "Haha you wasted a lot of money on us!" So now that I am 8 days postop I decided to bite the bullet and try it. First out of the fridge was the pineapple Orange banana. From my readings on here, there is a very clear line when it comes to Isopure Zero...you love it, or you hate it. So here it goes. My mom laughed as I crinkled my face in anticipation of my first sip. I was expecting this horrible cough syrup tasting concoction, but wait, it wasn't that bad. I went in for a second sip and yeah, I can do this. I can see where some people say it leaves a dryness in your mouth, but maybe that isn't so bad and it will help me sip more. I mixed it half and half with Orange G2 Gatorade and it really helped cut that dryness. I haven't tried the other flavors, so we will see how those work out.
On a side note, I keep losing track on how much fluids I'm getting in. I tried just remembering and that doesn't work. Then I tried writing it down and couldn't remember where I wrote it lol. So my uber genius and completely stupid solution was two paper cups, 8 pinto Beans, and a 1 cup measuring cup. Each time I measure out my cup, I move a bean over. I know...it's stupid, and I can't believe I just admitted it!
